Master Sommelier Randa Warren brings many learning experiences to the average person in her book, ’60-Minute Wine Expert – Taste Wine the Master’s Way’. While you may not become a connoisseur of fine wines, information in this book is very helpful.
TULSA, OK, October 04, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ — As with many things in life, sometimes a person realizes the way to get the best information is to go to the experts. That is what Randa Warren determined when she felt she needed more knowledge about the many aspects of wine. She brings much of those learning experiences to the average person in her book, ’60-Minute Wine Expert – Taste Wine the Master’s Way’. In it Ms. Warren offers the benefit of her education in an easy-to-navigate book about wine and the basics of this immense subject.
While wine tasting is subjective, Ms. Warren walks you through those things you will want to pay attention to. She knows much because she currently assists the Court of Master Sommeliers in teaching their Introductory, Certified, Advanced and Master-level exams around the country.
Tulsa-based Master Sommelier Warren teaches wine classes, takes groups on wine trips abroad and domestically, and speaks for a diverse clientele around the world. She realizes there are a lot of people who are intimidated by wine, so one of the things she teaches is that the seasons play a role in what wine works at certain times.
For instance, in the fall, leaving lighter white wines for a dry rosé or Pinot Noir is a good entry to more full-bodied wines served with heavier winter foods. She offers this advice and much more in ’60-Minute Wine Expert – Taste Wine the Master’s Way’.
While you may not become a connoisseur of fine wines, the information in this book will help you navigate the wine menu in your favorite restaurant, or when planning a holiday gathering. It would also be a fine addition to the library of your friends and family who may want to enhance their own education.
Randa Warren has been involved in the wine business for over 20 years. She began home-study WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust in England), wine courses through the International Wine Center in New York in 1998 and completed the final WSET Diploma program in 2001. In the spring of 2001, Randa gained the distinguished title of Certified Wine Educator through the Society of Wine Educators in the United States. During this period, Randa also embarked on a rigorous journey with the Court of Master Sommeliers, gaining her Advanced Sommelier title in 2000 on her first attempt in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2007 Randa became a Master Sommelier, the highest level of achievement in the Court of Master Sommeliers. There are only 258 people which have gained access to this prestigious title, and only 27 women in the world. These are among the highest levels of achievement one can hold in the world of wine.
