“I recommend this book to a wide-ranging audience as it crosses several genres. I recommend it to mystery lovers, those who like historical fantasies, and crime readers. If you enjoy all three of these genres, as I do, then I believe you will love this book.” – Sue S.

This historical fiction starts with Cleopatra Selene of Syria finding herself disappearing from the palace of the gods, where she was enjoying her afterlife. Pharaoh Seti the first, who had disappeared years before, found himself alone in a modern day museum, has a chance encounter with Selene as a spirit. What caused these disturbances in their rest? What were they both doing there?

Dr. Kaili Worthy’s love of archeology and the study of ancient pharaohs leads her on a collision course with the unknown as she is thrown into a world of secrets, danger, and ancient spirits. Her passion leads to a discovery that many cannot comprehend and her associates find hard to believe. Her only support is found in her husband and best friend.

This Award-winning book, Disturbed Tombs, is the first book in the Dr. Kaili Worthy series where ancient Egypt comes to life in the modern world. Readers who love historical fiction and mystery with a touch of the paranormal, will find this book appealing. The second book in the series is due out early 2023.

Other reviews: “I give Disturbed Tombs 4 out of 4 stars. Kay A. Oliver does a brilliant job of creating an adventure with twists and turns to keep you on your toes.” – Brooke L.

“I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, because aside from the mysteries and adventures covered by this book, it was also informative and educative and is based on true events of archaeological findings of mummies, bones and artefacts adding to its charm, that if a sequel to this book were to be constructed, i would be glad to read on about Kaili’s new findings.” – Sobi A.

“This book will appeal to readers from a wide variety of genres. Fans of historical fiction, crime, suspense, and romance in particular should read it. They would undoubtedly delight in a combination of all of these components and long for more.” – Eniola
